‘No Mean Feet’ donation boost

For months this team of amazing ladies have been pounding the streets in training for their Thames Path Ultra Challenge in September. For many, it is their second (or even third) fundraising Ultra Challenge for Dreamflight in the last five years!

The gritty and determined bunch will be walking from Putney to Henley, covering a distance of 100km (at least 132,000 steps each) and aiming to raise enough to fund the whole Dreamflight trip for two amazing children next year.

The team is headed by Kelly Keating who – together with team-mate and fellow long-term Shrek Group volunteer Gillie Ticehurst – is no stranger to organising epic fundraising events. Both are regular fundraisers and the main organisers of the hugely successful November Ball, which raises circa £150k each year for the Charity.

Baylis & Harding are regular sponsors of the Ball (and fabulous supporters of Dreamflight) and the ladies were staggered to be given a donation by Baylis & Harding to their Just Giving page of £4,500, ie the full cost for one child! Tania Slater, Co-Owner of Baylis & Harding said:

“As a family business, we are delighted to support the No Mean Feet team in their continued fundraising for the amazing charity Dreamflight. We are very proud that our donation will help one deserving child enjoy the trip of a lifetime, just when they need it the most. Good luck to Kelly, Gillie and their team in the Thames Path Ultra Challenge this month!”

Thank you to Tania and Baylis & Harding for your considerable ongoing support and to the ‘No Mean Feet’ team for taking on such a difficult challenge to help incredible children have their holiday of a lifetime on Dreamflight.
