Get to know the team behind Dreamflight’s 2026 Orlando trip in this special series, shining a light on the volunteers who make it all possible.
Meet Justin, a Dreamflight USA weekly volunteer.
Justin lives in Orlando, Florida with his family and works for NASA as the Acting Department Manager for Technical Integration and Construction. His team builds and modifies the ground systems that support the Artemis moon rocket, and they sit on console for the Commercial Crew launches to the International Space Station. Outside of work he enjoys spending his free time outdoors playing sports or training for races.
Justin has been supporting Dreamflight since 2007. Alongside volunteering on the Orlando trips, he also plays an active role on the Dreamflight USA Board as part of the operations team.
“My role on the trip is to support the group leader in the best way that I can. I help with getting things ready before the groups arrive in the US. Navigating the theme parks, helping with lunch and other meals so that we can minimise our time in line and maximise the day.
As part of the operations team, we help to coordinate onsite logistics, medical equipment, alignment with our volunteer teams, and partner with local venues and organisations to ensure that when the Very Important Children (VICs) arrive they are in a welcoming place where they feel fully supported and ready for fun. Lets go!” – Justin, Dreamflight USA Volunteer
