UK Trips

We know that Dreamflight trips provide the opportunity for children to develop independence, build their self-confidence and gain a new outlook on life. For those children where a 10-day Orlando holiday isn’t suitable, we also offer shorter UK trips to fully accessible activity sites.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Charity was unable to fly to Orlando. Instead we took a group of children to a specialist UK-based activity centre. The trip was a huge success and we have now taken four groups away in the UK.

As the activity centres used are fully accessible, Dreamflight is able to consider children with more complex needs.

During the trips, the children have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities, led by qualified instructors and assisted by our medical and non-medical volunteers. The activities include (but are not limited to):

  • Climbing/abseiling
  • Accessible cycling
  • Zip-wiring
  • Horse riding
  • Swimming

Our next UK trip takes place in March 2027

If you are a medical (paediatric) or educational professional and have a child in your care that would benefit from a short UK trip, at a fully-accessible site, please get in touch.
