Cycle for Dreamflight – Make every mile matter

Cycling challenges are a brilliant way to get outdoors, build confidence and take on an active adventure while supporting Dreamflight. Whether it’s your first organised ride or a new personal challenge, every mile helps children grow in confidence, independence and joy.

Why choose a cycling challenge?

Cycling events are ideal if you want to:

  • enjoy exploring new scenery and routes on two wheels
  • take on a challenge that builds stamina and feels achievable
  • train towards a clear goal with distances that suit your pace
  • share a memorable experience with friends, family, colleagues or a club
  • raise money through an active challenge that feels exciting and motivating

Cycling gives you something meaningful to work towards, and turning that effort into support for children makes it even more powerful.

How it works

We partner with Run for Charity, who connect you with trusted cycling events across the UK and overseas.

  1. Choose your event
Find a ride that inspires you, from scenic UK sportives to bucket‑list overseas adventures.
  2. Register through Run for Charity
You’ll then be directed to the official organiser to complete your full rider registration, including event logistics and medical information.
  3. Start your fundraising
Once registered, you can set up your fundraising page and begin your Dreamflight challenge.

Before signing up however, please do get in touch with us first as we can talk you through the event and, in some cases, explore whether a discounted charity place may be available.

Once registered, you can set up your fundraising page and begin your Dreamflight challenge.

Choosing your cycling challenge

There are rides for every ability, from steady local routes to iconic multi‑day adventures. Popular options include:

  • Etape Loch Ness and Etape Caledonia in Scotland
  • RIDE Series events across the UK
  • London to Brighton
  • Night‑time rides such as Nightrider London
  • Multi‑day challenges like London to Paris or London to Amsterdam

You can browse the full list of cycling events through Run for Charity.
