They’re about coming together as part of the Dreamflight family and doing something meaningful for children who face challenges every single day. Whether you walk, run, swim, cycle or take on something bolder, every effort you make helps children grow in confidence, independence and joy through extraordinary experiences they will never forget.

There’s a challenge for absolutely everyone – steady walks, big runs, muddy moments, unforgettable skydives and everything in between. Choose what suits you best, and we’ll help you make it your own.

How challenge events work

We work with a range of trusted event organisers and each challenge has its own sign‑up process, but most follow three simple steps:

1. Choose your event
Pick the walk, run, cycle, swim, obstacle or adrenaline challenge that suits you.

2. Register with the organiser
Some challenges are listed through Run for Charity, while others involve signing up directly with organisers such as Ultra Challenge or GoSkydive.

3. Start fundraising
Once your place is confirmed, you set up your fundraising page and we’ll help you get started.

Before you register, please get in touch.
We can talk you through your options and, in some cases, explore whether discounted charity places may be available, if not already listed.

Looking for something different?

If you’re exploring ideas or can’t see your chosen event listed, just ask. We can help you understand your options, guide you through the sign‑up process and point you towards events that fit what you’re hoping to do.

Already have your own place?

Brilliant. If you’ve secured a place directly with an organiser for your chosen event, we’ll support you with ideas, encouragement and anything else you need along the way.

What you’ll receive from us

When you take on a challenge for Dreamflight, you’ll be supported from day one:

  • A Dreamflight T‑shirt or running vest for event day
  • A dedicated contact in our fundraising team
  • Fundraising ideas, materials and guidance
  • Official Dreamflight images and approved copy if you’d like them
  • Encouragement and check‑ins throughout your journey

Minimum age requirements vary from event to event. You will find details on each event page, but if anything feels unclear, please get in touch and we can check for you.

Each event has its own sign up process. Some are hosted on Run for Charity, and others are organised directly through partners such as Ultra Challenge, GoSkydive, or other trusted organisers. Your chosen event page will explain what to do next, and we are always here if you want help navigating the process.

You will have a named contact in our fundraising team, along with ideas, materials, images and approved wording if you would like it. We stay in touch throughout your journey with encouragement and guidance whenever you need it.

Most people choose to use platforms such as JustGiving or Enthuse because they are simple, familiar and easy to share with supporters. You are welcome to use whichever platform suits you best. Once your event place is confirmed, you can create your fundraising page and personalise it with your story, photos and updates. If you are new to fundraising, we can help you set everything up and make sure your page feels personal and inspiring.
