Paralympic swimming medal-winner Phelipe Rodrigues will not be resting after the Tokyo Paralympics. Instead, our incredible volunteer has decided to kite surf almost 400km in just one week to raise sponsorship for Dreamflight!
Having been involved for many years in our Pirates Group, as both an escort and weekly volunteer, he was keen to take on a huge challenge and fundraise at the same time. He had always wanted to complete a kite surfing challenge, but his training schedule had never allowed it, until now!

Phelipe said: ‘Now that I’m back from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, I want to take this opportunity to raise money for a charity that I have been involved with for the past 10 years.’
He is a huge favourite amongst the Dreamflight children – and fellow volunteers – and we wish him all the best with this amazing challenge. Thank you Phelipe and please stay safe on those waves.
