We are so grateful to the 38 brave, intrepid individuals who battled extreme altitude, wind and cold to summit Mount Fuji, Japan’s highest mountain, at 12,400ft last weekend.
The climbers scaled at night, making the challenge even more difficult, but rewarding them all with a beautiful sunrise when they ALL reached the summit for sunrise. The team consisted of British Airways cabin crews, pilots, ground staff, office staff, friends & family.
Neil Smith, the trip organiser said “For some, this was the hardest physical challenge they may have ever faced. I’m thrilled they all achieved it, and raised upwards of £20,000 in the process, such an amazing team, thank you and well done.”
