We are delighted to announce that Gaylene Kendall will be joining us as a Trustee on the Board for Dreamflight.
Her experience in the areas of Treasury and Finance makes her particularly suitable for a place on our Board.
Gaylene works for British Airways where she holds the role of Head of Treasury, reporting to the CFO. In her role, Gaylene manages British Airways world wide relationships with a large number of banks, manages the Group’s financial risks including currency, interest rate, fuel and bank credit exposures. She is also responsible for ensuring the strategic and operational management of worldwide cash positions, Group debt and Treasury systems.
Previously, Gaylene has held positions of Treasury Controller, Finance Manager for Fleet and Network Planning and Finance Manager for Procurement.
Gaylene, originally from New Zealand, has lived in the United Kingdom for nearly 30 years. She is married with two teenage daughters and has a passion for travelling that has resulted in her eligibility as a member of the Travellers’ Century Club.
