The Little Star Foundation Support Dreamflight

Dreamflight are extremely lucky to receive considerable financial support from The Little Star Foundation a charity set up by Haven Holiday team members and supported by the Haven management team.

Haven Holidays is just one of the brands under the Bourne Leisure umbrella, Bourne Leisure is one of the largest holiday businesses in the UK, operating at more than 50 sites. In addition to Haven they also own and operate, Warner Leisure Hotels and Butlins.  According to the ‘Sunday Times 100 Best Companies 2010’, Bourne Leisure are one of the top ‘big’ companies to work for.  Fundraising is greatly encouraged amongst employees and activities take place across the country at all Haven holiday parks as well as at head office.  The Little Star Foundation was set up by a team of employees five years ago to distribute funds to deserving children’s charities.  Dreamflight are delighted to have been granted £25,000 towards the 2010 trip, a valuable contribution towards expenses such as medical equipment required, children’s entertainment throughout the trip and coaches used daily in Orlando to transport the children between the theme parks and their accommodation.         

The Little Star Foundation have previously supported Dreamflight, donating £6000 towards the trip in 2009 and also sending their hugely popular fun loving characters including Bradley Bear (pictured) Rory the Tiger, Greedy the Gorilla, Anxious the Elephant, Ned and Polly along to wave the children off at the Dreamflight departure party.  Emma Rembalski, Fundraising and Communications manager said ‘We are delighted that the relationship between The Little Star Foundation and Dreamflight continues and are most grateful for this generous support, enabling us to change 192 young lives each year.’
