Splash!!

It’s been great to have a change of scene at Blizzard Beach today, a great big open air water park with lots of water slides.  Transport around the park is via the ‘Lazy River’.  According to one Duck that didn’t previously like being in the water at all, Lazy River is the most relaxed he has ever felt in the water!  We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the biggest test of bravery so far this week has been the ‘Summit Plummet’ ride…a very high and VERY steep slide!  We had a great picnic for lunch and went on the wave machines and a zip wire too.

Transit seats were very useful today in helping some of us up steps and onto the inflatable rafts so we could join in and go on the many flumes and chutes at Blizzard Beach – they are made especially for Dreamflight and cost £100 each

Despite spending the whole day at a water park, some of us were still in the pool this evening before dinner when we got back to our hotel!  We proudly have a few boys and girls that have actually learned to swim whilst on Dreamflight this week!!

Once again, the weather has been very kind to us…bright blue skies today but not too hot meant that it was a perfect day!
