Peter Pan quiz night raises an impressive £300

Peter Pan quiz night raises an impressive £300 Retweet

Quiz master Mike (AKA Silver Fox) started the fund raising with a picture round, followed by History and Geography, General knowledge and Film and Television Rounds.  The quiz was well attended, with the first appearance of members from Christchurch rowing club who will be doing some fund raising of their own for Peter Pan Group by rowing from Christchurch to the Isle of White (wearing the famous raspberry Peter Pan t-shirts).

In the mean time the entertainment continued with a card bingo round with the winner being a member of Christchurch rowing club who generously reinvested her winnings in raffle tickets (raffle drawn by Harry Bassett picture attached).

There has been an over whelm request for a repeat performance of the evening only next time could the music round be reinstated.  Silver Fox has taken note!

The total amount raised on the night was £300 which will be generously matched by Barclays Bank South West.

There has been an overwhelming number of requests for a repeat performance of the evening...only next time could the music round be reinstated please?  Silver Fox has taken note!

The total amount raised on the night was £300 which will pay for three transit seats, used to help children onto the plane, buses, rides at the theme parks and into the swimming pool during their magical week in Orlando.
