Local Car Dealership’s on-going support for Dreamflight

Jefferies Farm/UnbeatableCar.com, a  Car Supermarket based in Crawley, West Sussex, have been supporting Dreamflight for 8 years now and their socially responsible stance sets a great example to other companies, showing just how easy it is to support a charity.

Jefferies Farm/UnbeatableCar.com Director Linda Moore explains how they help to raise valuable funds for Dreamflight:

‘Once a year we send out begging letters to our contacts, consisting of suppliers, sub-contractors, and car auctions.  We enclose a Dreamflight information leaflet and ask for donations.  So far the response has been wonderful with very few companies not helping.  We try to make our letter amusing and aim to encourage everyone to give at least something.  If we have a slow response we try a little friendly persuasion and this usually seems to work!  The donations we receive from our contacts range from £20 to £1000.  Each Christmas, we also have a raffle in aid of Dreamflight and monies received also go into the Dreamflight pot.  We normally manage to raise in excess of £12,000 every year which sends nearly four children on the magical trip to the wonderful theme parks in Orlando, Florida.’

In addition, each year Jefferies Farm/UnbeatableCar.com sponsor the t-shirts for Dreamflight’s ‘Flintstones’ group, taking 16 children from Glasgow and the Highlands in Scotland. 

So far, Jefferies Farm have been responsible for donations of over £70,000 to Dreamflight, which has paid for at least 20 children to benefit from the life changing holiday over the last 8 years.

This is a wonderful example to other businesses of just how easy it is to support Dreamflight.
