Absolutely no sign of jetlag in any members of the Dreamflight party today as many of us were in the pool swimming before the sun had risen. A quick bite to eat for breakfast and then we hit Disney’s Magic Kingdom. On arrival, we took a ferry across the water to the Magic Kingdom – it was so exciting. Shrekkies (pictured) were first in the queue.
For many brave Dreamflighters, today was our first ever experience on a roller coaster, which seemed a bit daunting at first, but turned out to be lots of fun! We have had a fantastic day on rides including Pirates of the Caribbean, we got wet on Splash Mountain, lost our voices screaming on Space Mountain, and had our first experiences driving on Tomorrowland Speedway. For the Mickey Mouse group from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex it was an extra special day as we had the opportunity to meet Mickey Mouse!
Icecreams were plentiful this afternoon with some interesting flavours (including pumpkin) and the weather has been great for us…sunshine and bright blue skies, but not too hot or humid. We loved the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom and hope tomorrow will be this much fun too!
