Escaped to the seaside

Pooh Bear escort, Jesal Mistry, recently took part in the City to Coast challenge.  This consisted of cycling 82 miles between London and Southampton, all in one day.

Jesal dusted off his trusty mountain bike and off he went.

"It was the hardest thing I have ever done and was a pretty lonely day spent cycling across the rather hilly South Downs!

"The day started with my Camelbak breaking and leaving me short of water so after a trip to the shop for water bottles off I went.  The ride took a lot longer than I had expected because for the last 20 miles or so I was cycling into a very strong headwind.  It was so strong I had to cycle down hills as well as up!"
