Dreamflighter raises £630!

Goofy 2010 Dreamflighter Laura has been very busy since returning from her Dreamflight trip in October 2010.  Laura wants to help to ensure that other children have the same wonderful opportunity that she did and has been spending her time fundraising…with the help of her Granny!

Laura and her Granny (pictured) recently held a coffee morning at Granny’s house.  Despite wet weather on the day, there was a wonderful turn out and many people joined Laura and her Granny for coffee and cakes.  In addition, there was a raffle and guests generously donated prizes.  Even those that weren’t able to make it to the coffee morning kindly made donations to show their support.  Laura managed to raise an astonishing £630 and she is not stopping there…

Laura’s next event-a craft and gift fair- will take place on Saturday 26^th March at Chilton Village Hall between 2.30 and 4.30pm.  This will be a great opportunity to buy Mother’s Day pressies so do pop along if you are in the area.  In addition, Laura has organised children activities and another raffle!!
