Paralympic swimming star Nyree Lewis set a new world record for 100-metres backstroke at the World Championships in Eindhoven (Netherlands) earlier this week.
The race was extremely close, but Nyree pulled through and finished ahead of Russia’s Anastasia Dioradove and Chinas’ Lu Dong. Her winning time of 1 minute 27.3 seconds set a new World Record in the 100-metres backstroke S6 category!
Nyree was one of the earliest children to experience Dreamflight on the first trip in 1987 and we are most proud of her fantastic achievement.
