Discovery Cove, Our Last Day...

What a way to end an amazing trip. Today we had an incredible day at Discovery Cove with perfect weather to match the experience. Discovery Cove is a beautiful place made up of lots of beaches, the Grand Reef, coves where you can do the dolphin swim, and a Lazy River to relax after all that energy being used up! All the children had the chance to swim with a dolphin which was incredible to see. They got to spend up to half an hour in the water interacting with the dolphins, having their photos taken, and even getting the chance to swim with them. AMAZING!!

The Grand Reef allowed us all to get in the water and snorkel with loads of tropical fish and some rather big rays. This was a 'first' for a lot of us and it was amazing to see so many children who weren't very confident in the water a week ago, get in and enjoy all that the reef had to offer.

A fantastic day and the highlight of the trip for so many children. Of course, this was all accompanied by a large lunch, lots of drink, ice creams, slushies and cookies. The perfect end to our stay.

This evening we had our final night party which meant we could all have a dance, enjoy the music, with it all culminating in a balloon drop from the ceiling to send us all off to bed half an hour later than usual!!

Tomorrow we pack, shop, and then head home. Excuse us if we look tired when we arrive back!!
