Colin Hill breaks 2009 record in Channel Swim for Dreamflight

Dreamflight supporter Colin Hill last year set himself the tremendous challenge of swimming the English Channel in support of Dreamflight.

Colin completed this fantastic achievement - which he appropriately named 'Chill's Great Channel Swim' - in a superb time of 10hours and 30 minutes.  Starting in the darkness at 3am in Dover, Colin swam in the 17 degree water with a superb support team feeding him banana's and passing drinks from a boat as he went.  Climbing onto the rocks in France was an emotional moment for Colin, who swam the mammoth 18 miles in a record time...he was the fastest UK swimmer across the channel in 2009!  Footage of this extraordinary and incredible accomplishment can be viewed at:
