Animex animation makes real life dreams come true

The Animex International Festival of Animation and Computer Games takes place every year at Teesside University, Middlesbrough in the North East of England attracting animators from all the major animation studios from around the world.

Animex teamed up with 99th Garrison Star Wars Characters to raise money for the Dreamflight Tigger Group. Animex festival Director, Chris Williams said; “we are delighted to be able to support the work of Dreamflight and to help send some local sick children go on a magical trip and see their favourite animation characters on their holiday of a lifetime”.

In addition to bucket collections and opportunities to have photographs taken with the Star Wars characters, an auction at an event Dinner was held in which a number of lots including original artwork from the leading animation studios across the world. In total £1596.84 was raised for Dreamflight.
