Former Dreamflight child Charlie Murgatroyd nominated for ‘Pride of Britain’ Award

We are thrilled that former Dreamflight child and tireless fundraiser Charlie Murgatroyd has been shortlisted as a finalist for her region in the Pride of Britain awards, in the fundraiser of the year category. Her nomination was picked up on TV this week: http://www.itv.com/news/central/update/2014-09-10/pride-of-britain-the-story-of-charlie-murgatroyd/

Now 16 years old, Charlie was part of the Goofy group on the 2011 trip. Since returning from her holiday of a lifetime, Charlie has tirelessly raised funds for Dreamflight and other charities, and has amassed an amazing £13,288.82 to date.  We are so proud of Charlie and what she has achieved and we wish her all the luck in the finals.
