What is Dreamflight?

not just a holiday, but life changing

"Dreamflight has taught me a lot of things...

One is to never let your illness put you down, always look on the bright side of life, and remember there is always someone out there who is worse off than you"

"I am now more confident in myself...

Dreamflight wasn't the place we went, it was the atmosphere and the happiness. I will never forget any of you"

"I had such an excellent time while I was there...

I will absolutely never ever ever ever... forget anything about the trip"

Welcome to Dreamflight

Dreamflight is a UK charity that changes young lives through taking children with a serious illness or disability, without their parents, on the holiday of a lifetime to Orlando, Florida.

Established in 1987 and operating annually since, Dreamflight believes that fun and joy are just as important as medical research and equipment - especially for children who perhaps can't wait long enough for the breakthrough they need or whose illnesses and treatments have brought pain, distress and disruption to their lives.

Thank you to Angela, Sophie and Emma from Legal & General for their lovely feedback about how much they enjoyed their Skydive in aid of Dreamflight. We have many Skydive events planned across the year, to book your place contact jenny.hillam@dreamflight.org

‘It was a gorgeous Saturday morning in Salisbury. After a huge build up to this day with fund raising for the Dreamflight charity, hypnosis for a phobia of heights and a lot of nerves, we were finally here and about to do a charity Skydive!

After the safety briefing, there was not long to wait.. We were soon in our suits and on our way up to 15,000 feet, strapped to 3 great instructors, who supported us all the way.

Nothing could have prepared us for the exhilaration of free fall and then the relaxed decent, once the parachutes were up (phew)! It was simply awesome, as was raising lots of money for a fantastic charity. We can't wait to do it again... Wahoo!’
